A.) National Projects (excerpts)

 

  • Financial support of the 500.000 DEM project of the Bavarian Environment Ministry in the Region of the origination of the Black Moldava river in the Todtenau area of the Bavarian Forest, for the renaturation of the moor topography with the target the make the habitat  suitable for the reintroduction of the Black Cock bird.
  • Organization of the „International Hunting Days“ in Munich and Erding by Munich, 5 x.
  • Support of the „House of the Bavarian Hunters“, Headquarters of the Bavarian Hunters Federation in Feldkirchen by Munich by buying a „Golden Brick“.
  • Co-organization of the Special Exhibit „African Impressions“ of painter artist Renato Casaro in the German Hunting and Fishing Museum in Munich.
  • Organization of the Special Exhibit „African predators“ in the German Hunting and Fishing Museum in Munich.
  • Support of the „Northern Bald Ibis“ bid project.
  • Full payment of the „Woodpecker-Mapping“ project of the Natural Sciences University of Nuremberg in the Bavarian Forest.
  • Support and leadership of the Bavarian Hunters Federation „International Hunting Committee“.
  • Donation of over 300 books, antique and modern, related to hunting to the German Hunting and Fishing Museum for their scientific studies.

B.) International Projects (excerpts)

  • Financial support for the lobbying activities with „FACE“ (European Federation of European National Hunting Federations, representing over 8 million European Hunters, based in Brussels, Belgium) for the SCI-Foundation to be accepted as the first non-European member of the same.
  • Coordination of the financing of the FACE-annual fees of the SCI-Foundation.
  • Co-organization of the „International Alpine Ibex Congress“ in Pontresina, Switzerland.
  • Yearlong close support and cooperation of the Government of the Republic of Namibia in mattes related to nature utilization, with the highlight being the support of the sale of the first official hunting tag for a Black Rhinoceros in the 21st. Century resulting in over 300.000 USD’s net revenue towards conservation projects in Northern Namibia.
  • Financial support of the Namibian Delegation’s visit to the European Parliament and official speech of the Namibian Environment Minister to the „EU Parliament Hunting Inter group“ which changed the European Parliament’s anti-hunting-attitude to understand the values of nature utilization.
  • Financing of the working meeting of the „FACE Communication Committee“ at the German Hunting and Fishing Museum in Munich.
  • Multiple attendances at NAPHA (Namibian Professional Hunters Association) Annual General Meetings, including political and scientific presentations.
  • Full payment of the translation costs for the translation and printing of the „SCI Official Measurer Manual“ to German and Spanish.
  • Support of the „Selous Wildlife Ranger Unit“ by buying them an engine-powered-boat to allow patrols of flooded areas.
  • Year-long support of the bi-annual CITES (Conference of International Trade of Endangered Species) Conference of Parties (CoP) participation of FACE-representatives as part of the SCI-Foundation delegation.
  • Co-financing of the book 10 years of Boc Balear“, Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
  • Co-financing of the translation costs of the book by FACE-President Dr. Michl Ebner, Alto Adige, Italy, on „20 years of Hunting Intergroup on the European Parliament“.
  • Co-organization of the two „FICONATUR“ Congresses in Castellón, Spain.
  • Organization and financing of a training program for young Croatian taxidermist-apprentices in Bavaria.
  • Over 20 years of support, financing and cooperation to ensure the amendments of the hunting laws represent the best interest of hunters, in:
